Gavin Rossdale: Canadian Idol

Gavin will be a mentor on Canadian Idol next Monday night, July 28th. He will also be performing on the show’s Top 9 results episode the following night, the 29th.

Canadian Idol announced another exciting line-up of musical guests this summer. Simple Plan, Bryan Adams, Tom Jones and Gavin Rossdale will all be hitting the stage to perform and mentor the competitors. This is just the first of many guest announcements to come with more being revealed on Idol as the weeks progress.

First up will be former Bush front man and recent solo artist Gavin Rossdale, who will coach the Top 9 for ‘Unplugged’ week. Rossdale, who is married to Gwen Stefani, will also perform live during the Top 9 Results show on Tuesday, July 29th.

British band Bush first formed in London in the early 1990s and went on to enjoy massive worldwide success with hits such as “Everything’s Zen,” “Glycerine,” “Machine Head” and “Swallowed” before breaking up in 2002. After working on various other projects, Rossdale has just released his solo debut “WANDERlust,” which he collaborated on with famed Canadian producer Bob Rock.
