WELL,IT’S GOOD TO BE BACK ON THE ROAD.THIS SHOW TONIGHT AT THE PABST IN MILWAUKEE IS A COOL WAY TO START.EVERYONE HAS BEEN SO FRIENDLY AND EASY ALREADY.VERY SUMMERTIME.
I WALKED AROUND THE DOWNTOWN -THE THIRD WARD,IT’S ALL CHANGING,AND SO MANY HAIR SALONS.
I THINK HAIR IS IMPORTANT HERE.I WALKED INTO ONE SALON TO GET SOME INSTANT DIRT FOR MYSELF AND THE GUY WORKING THERE,JUST GAVE ME A TUB OF LAVENDER OIL THING/STUFF.
HE SAID-HERE YOU GO OUT OF TOWNER,ENJOY.
I INVITED HIM TO THE SHOW BUT HE WAS BUSY AND IT WAS AWKWARD,BUT GENEROUS.

THEN I FOUND THE MARKET AND ATE A CATFISH SANDWICH-IT WAS A GOOD ONE.
THERE’S A WICKED 2ND AHND BOOKSTORE WITH OCEANS OF BOOKS AND SOME RECORDS.I MISS RECORDS-SO SUBSTANTIAL AND LARGE.EASIER TO MAKE A STATEMENT.

TOMORROW MINNEAPOLIS,WHERE MY FRIEND,TODD TRAINER LIVES,SO WE CAN CATCH UP.

I AM ABOUT TO DO THE SHOW,SO I BETTER RUN.WANTED TO SAY HELLO AND MAKE SURE
YOU’RE LISTENING.

    Gavin, it’s wonderful that you are back on tour. I saw you last night at the Pabst, and it was an amazing show. Being a bit younger at 23 I recently got into BUSH and bought your new solo album too and truly love it. It was great to see you for the first time, especially in such an intimate venue. The new songs blended well with your classics, each creating a tapestry of songs which I was immensely pleased with.

    My friend and I actually drove from the flooded town of Cedar Rapids, IA but the the trip wasn’t boring because we had plenty of music on the way to amp us up. Come to IOWA!!!

    I want to thank you Gavin for being out there on the road, and for playing Swallowed for me last night. Yeah, that was me yelling for it–I thought you said “we have a request” and then you began playing it! Awesome. Hope to see you soon!
